with a piezo-direction microphone, the leakguardPRO captures the ultrasonic hissing from the smallest leakages (up to as low as Ø 0.1 mm) and converts the signal into audible frequency range for the human ear

the optical LED bar graph display is additionally meant for the accurate evaluation of transducer, and its use is more meaningful in loud environment, like noisy production shops.

for separating out the loud signal spikes, for example, air flow release from switching valves, an electronic amplitude delimiter has been inserted for hearing protection. both, sensitivity and headphone volume are separately adjustable. similarly the ultrasonic mean frequency can be adjusted, at which the user can adapt his sensitivity to the subjective sound intensity.

with the help of integrated laser pointer, the leakage point can be accurately localised.

the device is compact (168 x 61 x 25 mm) and very light with weight of only 250 g. the ergonomically formed aluminium housing can be easily held in hand and enables fatigue free working for hours together.

the inserted battery allows uninterrupted operation for over 15 hours in fully charged condition. the scope of supply consists of a quick battery charger which can recharge the battery in only two hours.
